Deposit Required

A 30% non-refundable deposit of the total cost is required to secure your wedding date and services. This deposit is essential for us to begin booking and committing to various suppliers, venues, and other service providers who are integral to making your wedding day special.

Once the deposit is paid, we immediately allocate resources, including securing your chosen vendors, arranging the wedding planning manager, and locking in other essential services like catering, photography, and transportation. The reason this deposit is non-refundable is that we make upfront payments to suppliers and vendors to reserve their time and services for your event. Once these services are booked, those vendors are unable to accept other bookings for the same date.

If a cancellation occurs, these suppliers lose potential business from other couples who may have wanted to book that date. Similarly, as a wedding planning company, we invest time and effort into organizing your event, including securing the necessary staff, planning meetings, and coordinating logistics, all of which are not recoverable if a cancellation occurs.

In essence, the non-refundable deposit helps cover the costs of these commitments. It ensures that our suppliers and team can continue to provide top-quality service to all couples while protecting both your wedding plans and our business from unexpected cancellations.

Documents

Our team will assist with every step of the documentation process, from providing translations to handling legalization, ensuring that all your paperwork is in order and your wedding day goes smoothly.

Here are the required documents:
Each party to the marriage will need a copy of the following documents. For a religious ceremony, plan to have two copies of each—one for the house of worship and one for the town hall:

1. A valid passport.
2. A birth certificate with the Apostille stamp certifying the copy.
3. An official Apostille translated into Greek, which can be certified by a lawyer, a foreign ministry’s translation department, a certified translator, or the Greek consulate from your home country.
4. Proof of freedom to marry, or an affidavit of marriage, notarized in both English and Greek.
5. A decree of absolution of your previous marriage, if applicable.
